Fasting Tracker

Track Your Intermittent Fasting Progress

ONE Intermittent Fasting App is a fasting tracker that keeps your qualifying fasting sessions, streaks, water and weight records in one place so you can review your routine over time.

Tracking is a record of what you did — not a measurement of what is happening biologically inside you. ONE does not measure ketones, insulin, glucose, glycogen, or autophagy.

Lifecycle

From active fast to saved history

This is how a single fasting session becomes part of your tracker. The ONE fasting timer handles the session in real time; the tracker keeps what happened afterwards.

  1. 01

    Start a fasting session

Pick a Quick Start duration or a Custom Timer. The active session begins tracking elapsed time.

  2. 02

    Follow the fast

Progress through the session using the fasting timer. The timer view reflects elapsed hours, not a biological measurement.

  3. 03

    Complete the session

Once you end the fast, ONE checks the elapsed duration to decide whether the session qualifies for history.

  4. 04

Longer than 12 hours saves to history

Completed fasting sessions longer than 12 hours are saved to your fasting history. Sessions of 12 hours or less are not saved.

  5. 05

    Review over time

Your history builds up as a record of qualifying sessions you can review week by week and month by month.

History

Fasting history you can actually review

Once a fasting session completes and its duration is longer than 12 hours, it becomes part of your fasting history. Sessions of 12 hours or less are not saved. This threshold keeps the record focused on fasting-scale sessions rather than short intervals between meals.

Saved history is useful for:

  • Seeing which qualifying fasts you have completed.
  • Reviewing your recent fasting behavior week by week.
  • Noticing consistency and gaps in your routine.
  • Understanding your own recorded pattern without guessing.

History is a record, not a proof of health improvement. It shows what you did, not what happened inside your body.

Streaks

A streak is a consistency signal, not a score

A streak records how consistently you complete qualifying fasting sessions. It is a lightweight signal for noticing patterns — nothing more.

A streak is not a health score, and it is not something to protect by fasting through symptoms, extending a fast to reach a number, or compensating for a missed day with a longer fast the next day. The app records what happened; it does not push you to behave a certain way.

Timer and tracker together

How active fasting connects to your record

The fasting timer handles the current session — elapsed hours and progress toward the chosen duration. The tracker handles what remains after the session ends: the completed qualifying session in history and its contribution to your streak.

You do not have to choose between the two. In ONE, the timer and the tracker are the same product surface at different points in time — one during the fast, one across many fasts.

Scope

More than fasting history

Fasting tracking sits alongside a few simple daily records so you can review your routine in context. ONE does not claim these records prove anything about your metabolism.

Fasting sessions

Completed fasting sessions longer than 12 hours saved to fasting history.

Streaks

A rolling record of consistency, based on completed qualifying fasts.

Water

Daily water intake logging so hydration sits alongside your fasting record.

Weight

Weight entries logged over time as user-tracked information — not proof of causation.

Apple Health & Health Connect

Sits alongside your existing health tracking

ONE supports Apple Health on iOS and Health Connect on Android, so your fasting-related tracking can live alongside the other health data you already keep on your device.

This is intentionally a conservative integration. ONE does not claim to unify every health data source or generate cross-signal conclusions from them. It gives fasting a place next to the rest, on the platform you already use.

Compared

Fasting tracker vs a generic notes app

You can record fasting in a note or spreadsheet. A fasting-specific tracker keeps the session workflow and record consistent without you re-doing the setup each day.

What tracking is (and isn’t)

What fasting tracking can — and cannot — tell you

A honest tracker is one that stays inside what it actually knows. These lists apply to ONE.

What it can show

  • Recorded fasting sessions longer than 12 hours
  • Fasting history over weeks and months
  • Streak / consistency signals
  • Water and weight logs alongside fasting
  • Fasting data alongside Apple Health or Health Connect on your device

What it cannot show

  • When ketosis starts
  • Insulin, glucose, or glycogen levels
  • Autophagy activity
  • Exact fat oxidation or fat-burning state
  • Whether fasting caused a specific weight change
  • A diagnosis of any health condition

Inside the app

How tracking fits into ONE

Fasting tracking is one part of the broader ONE Intermittent Fasting App. Fasting history, streaks, water and weight are included at no cost. Premium adds an AI Coach powered by OpenAI with weekly and monthly analysis of your fasting patterns, plus protein tracking with natural-language food entry.

Free tracking gives you the record. Premium is optional and does not gate the core tracker experience.

Awareness, not pressure

A record is a signal, not a mandate

A gap in history or a broken streak is not a failure to fix with longer fasting later. ONE does not prescribe a fasting duration, does not push extending fasts to make up for missed days, and does not treat tracker signals as a health target.

Adjust your routine when your life or health changes. Fasting is a pattern, not a competition against your own record.

FAQ

Fasting tracker questions

What is a fasting tracker?

A fasting tracker is a tool that records completed fasting sessions and related routine data so you can review your fasting behavior over time. It is a record-keeping tool, not a measurement of your biological state.

What does ONE's fasting tracker record?

ONE records completed fasting sessions longer than 12 hours to your fasting history, tracks streaks, and lets you log water and weight over time. It integrates with Apple Health on iOS and Health Connect on Android. Premium adds AI Coach analysis of your fasting patterns and protein tracking.

When is a fasting session saved to history?

Completed fasting sessions longer than 12 hours are saved to your fasting history. Sessions of 12 hours or less are not saved. This keeps history focused on fasting-scale sessions rather than short gaps between meals.

Does ONE track fasting streaks?

Yes. A streak records how consistently you complete qualifying fasting sessions over time. A streak is a record-keeping tool, not a health score, and the app does not encourage extending fasts or fasting despite symptoms to preserve a number.

Is the fasting tracker free?

Yes. Fasting history, streaks, water tracking, weight tracking, and Apple Health / Health Connect integration are included at no cost in ONE Intermittent Fasting App. Premium adds an AI Coach powered by OpenAI with weekly and monthly analysis of your fasting patterns, plus protein tracking with natural-language food entry.

What is the difference between a fasting timer and a fasting tracker?

A fasting timer measures the current fasting session — elapsed time and progress toward the selected duration. A fasting tracker records what happened after sessions complete — history, streaks, and patterns over time. In ONE, the timer feeds the tracker: when a session longer than 12 hours completes, it becomes part of your history.

Can ONE track ketosis, autophagy, or fat burning?

No. ONE does not measure ketones, glucose, insulin, glycogen, autophagy, or fat oxidation. It records fasting behavior — session length, completion, streaks, water and weight logs — not physiological state. Any fasting-phase labels shown in the app are educational estimates based on elapsed time, not personal measurements.

Does ONE work with Apple Health and Health Connect?

Yes. ONE supports Apple Health on iOS and Health Connect on Android, so fasting-related tracking can live alongside your other health data on the device you already use.
